Recently, I submitted a big deliverable and found that there was an error that needed to be flagged and corrected, and communicated and I felt horrible.

Here’s the truth: mistakes happen to everyone, even the most careful. The key is to pause, breathe, and treat yourself with the same compassion you’d give a colleague.

Fix it, then let it go.
