Nine Ways of Being Human: A Free Enneagram Workshop

I’ve been studying the Enneagram for six years. I’m certified to work with individuals and teams through the organization IEQ9, one of the most researched Enneagram assessments available. I use it in my coaching practice, in leadership development, and in team workshops where people are trying to work together better.

And now I want to share it more broadly.

On Wednesday, April 2nd at 4:00 PM Pacific, I’m hosting a free 60-minute workshop called Nine Ways of Being Human. It’s live on Zoom, and it’s open to anyone curious about this framework—whether you’ve never heard of the Enneagram or you’ve been exploring it for years.

What the Enneagram Actually Is

The Enneagram is not a personality test.

It doesn’t tell you what you do. It reveals why you do it—the core motivations, fears, and patterns that shape how you see the world and move through it.

The word itself comes from the Greek: ennea (nine) and gram (something written or drawn). It describes nine distinct ways of being human. Not as fixed boxes, but as patterns we can recognize, understand, and—with awareness—grow beyond.

This is what drew me in six years ago. Not another label, but a map. A way to understand myself more honestly, and to understand others with more curiosity and less judgment.

What We’ll Cover

In this workshop, you’ll learn:

∙ What the Enneagram is and where it comes from (a modern framework with ancient roots)

∙ The three Centers of Expression: Thinking, Feeling, and Action—and why this is often the first “aha” moment

∙ A walk through all nine types, using language that’s practical and workplace-relevant

∙ How to start recognizing your own patterns—not to box yourself in, but to see more clearly

This isn’t theory for theory’s sake. It’s a tool for navigating real life: change, growth, conflict, relationships, leadership.

Who This Is For

You might be in a work or life transition—one you chose, or one that’s being asked of you. You might wondering why brilliant people in your life keep misunderstanding each other. You might just be curious about yourself and ready for a new lens.

All of that belongs here.

No prior Enneagram knowledge is needed. Just bring yourself and an open mind.
